On Bourbon Street when dan spotted a guy wearing a Huddersfield Town shirt so we went over and the couple were from Crosland Moor! They'd just arrived and thought it was hilarious! We chilled out today and then wandered around the cool second hand and antique shops before going to Lafittes for a beer. We were hungry and hadn't tried any creole food yet so found a really cute little place to try the local dish, jambalaya. We explored mor eof the French Quarter today and went for iced coffee and biegnets at Cafe du Monde on jackson Square. Biegnets are basically non-dougnut-shaped doughnuts with a mountain of icing sugar on top! Thought we were going to miss the bus this morning. The traffic and weather were both really awful but Serena got us to the station with 10 minutes to spare!
