Today we got up at 9am to watch the Engalnd game and then found out that it was on at 6am! But they did win though. So we decide to go back to bed as jet lag had started to kickin. Slept until 2pm! This timewe actually made it to Beverly Hills (after 2 bus rides). The place is full of Ferarris, Lambourghini and Bentleys and the shops on Rodeo Drive were scarily expensive,just as I thought. Went for the bus back to Hollywood, but I insisted on getting the bus outside Beverly Hills Police Station, which, just like everything else in this place, is very swish. I just wanted a photo because it was in Beverly Hills Cop! The freaks really had comeout in Hollywood. There are a fair few on weeekdays but on Saturdays all the has beens, wannabes amnd never weres are either standing around posing, strutting up and down the boulevard,singing into microphones or breakdancing. The scariest specimen was a mexican drag queen with an unbrushed Marilyn wig, dishevelled dress, fire engine red lippy and a scary amount of white powder covering her face, pouting outside McDonalds,of all places. We went to the world's best cinema again tonight tosee A Prairie Home Companion,which was very good. The audience clapped when it finished.
