We loved macau too!.... not so much our first hotel, which was scruffy, full of mould, and people had writted telephone numbers down on the walls! we didnt mind so much though because as a special treat for dans birthday, on the third night we stayed in the MGM grande!

we went to see cirque du soleil in the venetian hotel, which had a real canal running through the middle with real gondoliers singing songs! it was fascinating wandering around the huge casinos. we also went to the lisboa, which had dance and acrobatic shows on the bar stage, which were quite a let down from cirque!

the MGM was amazing! we had a fantastic nights sleep in a clean, comfy bed after having a bath in a huge tub!
