Hung with the primates at Batu caves. Lots of fun. Amazing shrines built into natural caves. Only sad part was litter everywhere. The monkeys tear open ice cream wrappers and drink from cans. For such a spiritual place u wonder how it gets to that point as the monkeys are now clearly dependent on the sugar fixes we leave behind.
We had an awesome taxi driver who took us around for the day for $30. He had a very thick accent but we somehow communicated ok. Not sure if either of us knew what the other was talking about. Just using the universal smile and nod. Works in most cases.
Was expecting harsh weather but the day couldn't be more perfect. If this is what we're in for in Asia then we couldn't be happier.
Off to markets tonight for a feed then on to petronas towers. Looking forward to a big sleep
