Today Wednesday 14th May we went to Cannes for the 1st day of it's 61st International Film Festival. It was a buzz with people, photographers, camera crews, corporate tents and vehicles, security and huge yachts in the harbour. We had a beautiful lunch right opposite the red carpet building and watched the action go by. We tried hard to spot the celebraties but they were well guarded behind dark windowed cars.
