Our final stop in Mexico before Cancun was the wonderful town of Merida. It's a relatively big place with the typical colourful Mexican houses. Our main mission here however was so visit the Cenotes!! These are underground pools of water which you can swim in- yup pretty much we were going to be Alice climbing down into under ground wonderlands. Palenque you were short but sweet... We arrived after 16 hour long journey looking like the sweaty disheveled gorj glam gals we constantly are. It was crazy humid and hot as we walked down a cobbled street to our hostel in the trees. Sooo out first stop in Argentina was Mendoza. The place of wine tours and cow boys. We arrived after a shocking night bus where we has to get off the bus at 3am for the boarder crossing and stand in the cold. Yet when we arrived the sun was shining, the streets where pretty avenues wih a tunnel of trees and we all knew that wine and steak would soon be in our bellies. Soo we arrive in Valparaiso at 6am after just 6 hours on an over night bus and it was pitch black. We got a taxi to our hostel only to have stray wolf packs attacking the taxi as we drove past- more fear than Harry Potter when he saw the Grim in the park.
