This morning we went on our last and best tour yet of 3 Gaudi buildings. The first two were apartments and the 3rd was an unfinished cathedral, which they are still building. This architecture is so unique from anything we've seen so far, Professor calls it "organic" which you can see b/c the iron work in the appartments looks like nature, the 2nd appartment looks like waves, and the columns inside the cathedral looked like trees. This morning we had another sight seeing tour, this time of the gothic quarter. The main cathedral was pretty cool w/ the high arched ceilings. Then we hit the beach again right after the tour. This time a group of us went to the Barceloneta beach area where it's more crowded but better waves. Today we had a tour, which wasn't much of a tour, we just rode the bus to 3 places. The first place was the only good place, Parc Guell, made by Gaudi and very different than anything I've seen. Then we stopped by this famous modern pavilion, which was really lame, and we just passed by this other cubist building. I wore my swim suit on the tour so I headed straight for the beach afterwards. Today we went to the Picasso Museum, and guess what we saw a bunch of Picasso works, amazing isn't it. Afterwards I led a group of us to see some stuff b/c I did some researching on this city and there's a lot to do. We went Parc de la Ciutadella, which had a huge fountain thing.
