I left Vienna and travelled down to Munich in Germany! The trip was amazing because the country side was so beautiful! I'm only getting one night in Munich, because the Munich versus Chelsea soccer final is on and getting accomodation is impossible! I'll be back to Munich for Oktoberfest however so I'll get to check it out then. My friend Hannah is in the same position so we decide to spend the night and really experience Germany. We drop off our bags and head straight into town trying some local food at the market and seeing a few of the sights. The town is bustling with fans of both teams, it's a great atmosphere. There are two players from each team walking the streets and Hannah and I find ourselves amongst a group of crazed fans!

We head back to the hostel and meet up with our busabout group. The tour guide Joel has organized a group dinner at the local beer hall. He books a table for thirty, organizes a keg to share and shows us what's best to eat. I had a pork knuckle which is famous in Germany. It was so delicious, some of the boys have massive plates of meat with duck, pork, chicken, sausages! We eat lots of food and drink lots of beer it was such a good night. Then I head back to the hostel with two new friends; mike and bennos from manly and we have a few drinks in the hostel.

Even though I only spent one night in Munich it's been one of my favorites.
