Matilda the Musical opened in London on the 25th of October to rave reviews but I can say I wasn't too keen to go. However, I would highly recommend going to see this musical when it comes out in Australia. One of the reasons we decided to go and see this musical was that Tim Minchin, composed all the music. It was Brilliant!!!

The little girl who played Matilda was also fantastic, she looked like a baby Hermione and her voice was just beautiful. The real star of the show, was actor Bertie Cavell, the infamous Trunchbull...he was hilarious playing the old, mean headmistress of a school. This musical was so much fun and to top it off we ate at Jamie Olivers for dinner mmm... I just love pre show dinners and drinks in London...

Who was I to doubt the brilliance of Roald Dahl on stage!!!
