'Contikiiiiiii follow the right guide' is what we heard all day coming from our guide who took us on the best tour ever!!! Today we went to the colosseum and Roman Forum, as well as the ancient Ruins of one of the most interesting moments in history. I got to see where they cremated the remains of Julius César after he was murdered...Rome is such a magical place however it is also such a nightmare to negotiate on your own. Glad I had my Contiki pals, U guys are legends. Getting lost in Rome is one of the best things you could do..in fact getting lost in most of the places we have been to so far is the best way to see a city. There are so many different streets and alleys with tiny stalls and markets everywhere, as long as you are in a group then you are pretty safe.
