Hello.

Ive finally left Rottnest - sad to leave the island and all the friends at dome. But I felt it was time to move on as I'd had enough and plus had to keep moving in order to see the rest of WA before i head to the east coast to be in time for leaving Sydney in March.

The last week has been madness. Had my last day of work on saturday, got very drunk that night with some funny concequences. Went on a boat trip round the island on a fast speed boat (at least i can finally say ive been round the entire island - even if it was on a boat!) Danny and I were room mates for 2 nights, spent the evening at a 5 star hotel for a cheap rate with Hayley & Renee - Hayley my old superivsor used to work there. Where we spent the evening in the casino playing an addictive - two up. followed by a good boogie in a nightclub called 'Ruby Room'. The hotel was huge - with butlers outside the enterance, spa & sauna. i was so excited - felt abit like julia roberts when she walks into the hotel for the first time in pretty women haha.

Almost forgot on the last day (sunday) 45mins before the ferry my backpack fully broke so Renee lent me her spare suitcase so we had to lug this huge suitcase round Perth in search for a camping shop. Bought this bag and then repacked my backpack in the shop haha - hey all part of the travelling experience i guess.

This saturday Im heading south to Margaret river for about a week before exploring the places in between there and Perth on the way back. Then hoping to meet up with Tony & Caroline (garudians) and all Perth friends for australia day (26th Jan) before heading to the east coast.

Hope all is well and that it has warmed up a bit even if it is still very cold.
