Hey Everyone,

Bit late on the blog update but hey. Last week i headed down South to Margaret River, which is a small town surrounded by vineyards and only 10mins drive from the nearest surf beach.

The town itself is alot smaller than I had expected, just one main street containing vairous clothes shops, coffee shop, a garage, plenty of bookshops and a tatoo parlour.

I spent the week visiting areas surrounding margies such as 'pevelly' which was pretty cool, Busselton which was good fun - again not much there excpet for the massive famous jetty. Although stupidly I didnt go right to the end to visit the aquarium which is a not to be missed attraction (only found this out afterwards!).

Spent the week at Raymond's place. His house is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees, where you get woken up by kooaburers every morning - keeping thinking its monkeys! The evenings were a mixture of alot of laughter, combined with drinking and strums of the acoustic and watching comedies (flight of the conchords & chase's war at everything), jamming sessions down at Augusta with Ray's friend Reece, having a go on a massive drum kit, driving down this open road at 8.30 at night singing along to John Butler Trio at the top of our voices, an evening at the local pub watching a wicked band. :)

Currently back in Perth, having spent Australia day down at a random harbour with Luke, Danni and others - beers, fireworks, losing my phone and having to jump start our VW camper down the hill then run along and jump in after it - good times! Leaving this Friday (6th) to head up to the rain, wind and mozies in tropical Cairns...wish me luck!
