Hey Everyone,

Im currently in the very eggy smelly town known as Rotorua. The 2 weeks have been pretty crazy. Went up to a small place called Pahia up in the bay of islands the day after I arrived. Ended up staying there for about 10 days - oops. about 6 days with Rick & Sharon (3 days at the beach house at Coopers beach and another 3 days at Keri Keri) before getting a cash in hand job for 3 days cleaning 4 star apartments and living there for free which was right opposite the beach - jammy or what :P!

I've visited various places in the last few days - Hot water beach (hot springs bubbling beneath the water), cathedral cove - cold but pretty!, glow worm caves - absailing down waterfalls, crawling through on our tummys in pitch blackness etc, and stopped at a cool surf town with a wicked point break known as Raglan - amazing sunset lookout spot. Also visited a maori house, learnt the hacka and had a hanki/honki (sharing breath and touching noses with a maori. Finally last but not least - white water rafting down a grade 5 river going down a 7 metre waterfall and falling out in spectacular fashion!

The group that was on the stray bus the last few days have been wicked - Dave, Dan, Pip, Vicky (met in the whitsundays back in Oz), Mark, Ben, Rob, Rob (who i spent my 1st 2 weeks in Sydney with which was cool) and Claire.

Hoping to head off to Taupo tomorrow - going on a 18km hike that is known as 'mount doom' in the lord of the ring films! And some spa treatment this evening..such is life lol!
