What a great day. Breakfast at Tick Tock Diner then subway to the East Village and walked around the streets with neo bohemian shops, cafes and restaurants plus visit to the Merchants House Museum - an original wealthy merchant family house from 1832.
Subway to Times Square and lined up for discount tickets to War Horse-yes!!!- we got 2. Walked back to hotel for a rest (plan tomorrow for me and nap for Virginia).
Subway from Penn Station to the theatre (had fun getting the right train) and then an AMAZING experience at War Horse - the life size horse puppets were incredible. Train back to Tick Tock Diner for an 11pm light dinner.
Off to walk around Brooklyn and Wlliamsburg tomorrow
