We set off early from Adelaide to head down to the ferry at Cape Jervis over to Kangaroo Island. So having left my Aus family I briefly got to see my own!! They landed in Brisbane the night before I flew out. It was a very surreal experience, after going so long without anyone or anything from home. But it was lovely to see them even for a few short hours.
