We had prebooked at taxi to take us to the ferry this morning and headed off at 8:30am. The roads weren't very busy and we arrived in time to catch the 8.40am ferry. We sat out the back on the side and had great views on the short 8km trip to Magnetic Island. We got up to yet another beautiful North Queensland winter's day. We decided to have one last swim in the alluring Big Crystal Creek and then packed up camp and headed out to the main road. We liked the Big Crystal Creek and camp area so much we decided to stay for another night. We all enjoyed a very lazy day swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. We had 3 very cheeky and cute Kookaburra's hanging around most of the day wanting to be fed and were most pleased when Wendy fed them some chicken. Joe and Col headed out to collect some more wood so we could have another camp fire. We all just love the atmosphere a campfire sets.
