Had a very much need sleep in . . . Set out walking about 10.30am.
Then caught a taxi to Recoleta Cemetery - where Eva Peron (Evita) is buried. The cemetery is quite a tourist attraction, not only to visit the grave of Eva Peron, but also to see the huge moussoleums, and edifices - some dating back to the 1800's. Some in good repair and maintained well, others in crumbling disrepair.
It was fascinating . . .
We then continued walking. Headed to the race track - the noise was deafening! We could see glimpses of the cars going round the track. A good place to 'people watch'. There were lots of artisan stalls around the area.
We continued to walk, tracking down historic and important buildings. Again, same as yesterday, lots of disrepair in the roads, footpaths and buildings - and still lots of buildings closed up, dirty and with grafitti.
Seems to be a sad city . . .
Headed back to the hotel to pack up, ready to board the ship tomorrow afternoon, after more sightseeing in the morning.

Vicki Sherlock It works Jenny. You are a clever little thing. Liked the look in the hat Ron, almost a native. Everything fine here. Lots of rain. Holidays start tonight. Safe travels.
