So guys yet again it has been ages since we have been able to find time to fill everyone in on what we have been up to!

After Cambodia we headed to the south of thailand with or first stop in Koh phangnan! It is a small island just south west of thailand. For the first two nights we stayed in a gorgeous little hut right on a stunning private white sandy beach which had crystal clear water. It was so beautiful and quiet, we felt like the only ones there and were often the only people in the sea or on the beach, it only cost four pounds a night for both of us aswell! After a few days maxing and relaxing in our hut, on the beach and in the hommocks on our balcony we decided to hire a bike to check out the island and see why its nicknamed worldwide as the party island! We hired a quad bike and asked someone how to get to the islands main beach where they hold the massive and crazy full moon party. The man we asked told us the way and simply told us to be careful as the roads consist of big hills with equally sized drops down......this we discovered was not an exaggeration, the hills had an inclines of 20 percent going both up and down! It was so much fun, bloody scary at first, me hanging on to the back of a quad as reece was forcing the bike up the hills, but it was like being on a rollercoaster which passed a least 3 cars which had broken down trying to make it up!

The main town of Koh Phangnan was completely opposite to the other side of the island which was so quite and beautifully peacefull. Basically other than in the very tucked away parts of the island, the place really is one massive 24 hour party! They have an excuse for a party everyday, Full moon partys, half moon party, silva moon party, blackmoon party, weekend party, monday party, pool party......you name it and they will celebrate it religiously. The best party we went to was when we moved down into the party atmosphere on the third night. We stayed in a large bungalow right next door to the hotel which hosted the islands only pool party. The party simply involved getting stupidly drunk on thia wiskey coke and red bull then playing stupid games in the pool till either sun rise or till you are exhausted. We played water wrestling with me on reeces shoulder for hours- which we were champions at and reece won the belly flop contest by flying matrix style through the air and into the pool! so much fun!!!!!!

The only problem with Koh Phangnan was the rain! After the third day the heavens opened and did not give us a break for almost a week straight. Unfortunately this left us with no option but to slob in the hotel all day in front of endless films and drink too much wiskey or chang in the evening! no so bad after all! The rain finally stopped the day of the full moon party (this really was the only thing keeping us on the island as it was one of only a few islands on the west of thailand that were getting rain, everywhere else was gorgeous sunshine)! If you dont know what the full moon party is you should google it! It is crazy, simply thousands of people decend upon this tiny island and have a massive beach party under the full moon until the sun sets and for hours after. The party itself was just so unreal! There are just people everywhere covered from head to toe in paint and dancing to rave music! Although the music was not to our taste we had a great night and when we finally found a bar playing cheesy pop and rnb, we danced like idots till the sun came up which was so stunning, such a great thing to see and experience! Koh Phangnan was all about the full moon party and although the rain stopped us from doing a lot we still really enjoyed the place. We met two really nice guys froim scotland who also made the experience one not to forget!

From Koh phangnan we headed to krabi in search of some more relaxation and beautiful beaches. Although Krabi involed alot of unbelievable beaches, there was however no chance of relaxation........... Will fill you in on the krabi adventures in the next edition, rather than either bore you or make you too jealous now!!!!! love you all x x x x
