All the reviews we read about the parks in Canberra were fairly average. So we were pleasantly surprised with Queanbeyan riverside tourist park. The girls seem to enjoy the quiter parks much more. They played happily by the river and park. Very friendly people around for a chat any time of day. Merry Christmas! We've had a fab Christmas here in Batemans bay. The drive from Sydney to here was beautiful N.S.W is a very pretty state. Busy bustling Sydney! Woah... The traffic just never stops. We found it all a little crazy but it works. We camped just outside the city in a quite national park called lane cove. There is no where quite like Byron Bay! It was amazing to see and stay with Pete, Kel, Bridget, FiFi and there pet chicken Charlotte! ( Who by the way is partial to a bit of cheese).
