Arrived in Dresden Germany around 1200- walked around to get the lay of the land AND finally mailed our box with no issues!!!! Not too bad of a price either considering how heavy it was.
The buildings here are beautiful - learnt today that this city was considered the most beautiful in Germany but than got bombed 2 days before the WW2 ended. It took them a long time to rebuild but succeeded in restoring the city.
Went to the museum of treasury art and saw some very interesting pieces with so many jewels and gold- unfortunately pictures were not allowed. We were able to see the green diamond. It is one of the worlds richest treasure chambers in the world.
Enjoyed a Cosmo at our hostel which is rather quiet. Than had a lovely nap !! This cold needs to kick it.
Busy day planned for tomorrow- hoping the rain stays away !!
