After saying our goodbyes to Lisa who was returning to the UK, myself, Laura, Lois and James jumped on a flight from Bangkok to Krabi. We had heard horrible things about the weather but were hoping that all would be ok. We jumped in a mini bus who tried taking us to all sorts of crap guesthouses who were trying to rip us off. We ended up in a really small, friendly guesthouse whose owners were lovely. It was a short walk into the main town bit. We had dinner at the little night market and invented the 40 Baht challenge which was to see who could get the most for 40 baht. A sad, sad game but was a lot of fun. In the evening we sat on the veranda at the guesthouse as we were going to Koh Phi Phi the next day.

We actually stayed here again after going to Phi Phi and there was a fantastic festival going on where there were tons of night market stalls and entertainment. It was brilliant and we all had such a good time before heading off to the other side of the Thailand to get to Koh Samui.
