Technically I am not back in Manly until tomorrow but I know I will be very busy over the next few days so I am updating this now

I have actually been in Brisbane since Christmas Eve. I stayed with Anne, Tony and the kids until the 27th when they left for New Zealand and then home. We all spent Christmas Day with Anne's sister Mary and the rest of their family. It was definately very different from Chritmas at home. Firstly Santa found me (which he hasn't for a good few years) and I had a stocking full of gifts to open in the morning. The weather was glorious so we all spent the day in and out of the pool. Lunch was a seafood, salad and cold meat buffet. Much lighter than the usual roast, although all the adults still got a bit sleepy in the afternoon (must be a Xmas thing)! Desert was the best though, Pavlova and Trifle, mmmm!

I am going to have to finish here as I am off to catch a train to my next stop, a hotel near to the airport. My flight is at 6.30am tomorrow so have to be up bright and early.
