Just finished my coastal tour from Melbourne to Adelaide via the Great Ocean Road. Was fantastic. Lots of beautiful scenery and wildlife...perhaps a few too many rocks though!
On the last day of the tour went on a Bush Tucker walk with an Aboriginal from the Coorong Area. Learnt a lot about aboriginal history and of course food but didn't get to eat Wigedy Grubs...was a bit relieved to be honest! May have the opportunity on my outback tour though which starts on Wednesday the 4th.
Today a friend and I took a trip to the Borossa Valley on a Wine Tasting Tour. Not only got to taste very nice wines but also fed and then ate Kangaroo (not the same one)....felt a bit mean for about 5 second. It is lovely meat but was a bit too well done... I think my French blood has given me the taste for rare meat!
It is my last day in Adelaide tomorrow. I have been staying with a girl I met in Sydney who lives here. Her and her family have been very kind to put me up and it has been wonderful to have home comforts again. On to the outback though where I will be camping for 5 nights....I hopefully wont get eaten by a Dingo.....!
I should be uploading the pictures from tour now if not when I get to Perth!
Lots of Love
