ok so...we left Greenhouse and headed for Base in St Kilda..

Feeling slightly delicate the welcome at this hostel was impressive for a 'Base' hostel. Nice room with a good size en suite..! The lads and a few other people had left melbourne and given us curry sauce, rice and some veg.. sweeeeeet! went off to buy chicken for the curry and noodles for lunch the next day..The curry was gooorgeous.. although slightly hot for Jayne...

We met up with Mike, a guy we first met on that infamous ferry crossing with matt showering...had a few drinks and an early night because the next day we had to be in the city for 8am for guess what...

THE NEIGHBOURS TOUR! hahahaha

Early next day we jumped on the tram and managed to get there in time.. oh my life the people on this neighbours bus take it VERY serioulsy whereas we kinda went for a laugh.. Well to cut a boring 2 hrs short we went to Erinsborough High (whiich is a school in the week and a dog training school on the weekend.. yes it was a SATURDAY!)...then off to Ramsey st.. yeah that was ok...a lot smaller than you think.. you have to hold the sign! rubbish.. but we tried to make it look like we were leaning on it. (note, jaynes hand on left of pic). Then onto the studio. hmmmm not bad.. saw the set etc... all in all something you have to do.. but we would never do it again!

There was a nice girl in our dorm called Kate (although Lisa had issues and kept calling her Gemma for some reason!)..decided to go out with her and Mike.. well we later found out that Gemma (doh! I mean Kate)...doesnt need very many drinks... we met with mike down in the hostel bar and about an hr later Kate was chucked out for being too intoxicated.. opps...a good night was had, we went to bed and were woken by the worst roomates we have EVER had..

so after having 2 hrs sleep...5.30am the dorm door opens and 3 completely out of it Irish guys come in turn the light on and start smoking and dancing! fantastic..just what you want! well we wont bore you but it went on for over an hour until they all passed out.

So St Kilda is full of 'working girls' and tramps...but apart from that its lovely.. teehee...

Monday arrived and as we didnt do too well at sightseeing in melbourne we decided to go around the city on the free city tram and take pics... we missed greenhouse so much that we went and ate our lunch on the roof there.. oh and lisa was cheeky and used their free internet to check emails.. well..what they dont know wont hurt eh??teehee

Monday evening was NEIGHBOURS NIGHT! but Dr Karls band werent playing as he was taking a holiday to vietnam with his family.. how inconsiderate! teehee.. well we werent too happy but we suppose he deserves a break !

Fab night, and we hadnt reached the bar before bumping into the guys from the Greenhouse Hostel.. met Stingray, Connor, Rachel and Stu! then we left to go back to 'fake neighbours night' in the city.. and met Paul Robinson! legend! A new guy in our room from south london called paul came and met us and we stayed our til late at joint bar.. this time with no argument! hahaha

woke up the next day and packed for our flight to Sydney..
