Soon found the original Route 66 road and followed it straight as a gun barrel down to Springfield ,the home of Abraham Lincoln and visited his actual Tomb. Standby for pics

Hello everyone. We landed in Chicago yesterday at 2 pm local time after a great 8 hr flight on BA. We collected our hire car, a 4x4 Ford and set off into downtown Chicago and the Knickerbocker hotel. We were asleep by 9 local time, which would have been 3 am in the UK. I found myself wide awake by 5 am and did my 20 minute run around Michigan Avenue and the skyscrapers soon afterwards. Wow!
