Back at Flagstaff tonight , and then off to the Hoover Dam on the way to Las Vagas and a very modest hotel on "The Strip". Looking forward to spending a couple of days in the same hotel and relaxing. Also trying to prevent El Cook from losing his house on the blackjack tables.....

Drove 40 miles. Down to Sedona and had a great time in the super sunny weather ,red rock scenery and shopping in the exclusive area used by wealthy Americans for vacations. No trailer trash here!

Not far from the Canyon is the Arizona snowbowl a really nice ski resort. We drove upto the slopes and found we were at an elevation of 10000 ft ! It was still cold enough for this snowman. Tomorrow we are driving 30 miles south to Sadona. Meant to be really posh. We'll soon drag them down to our level !

Incredible trip to the Grand Canyon today. No pic can prepare you for the awesome sight that greets you when you get to the veiwing platform. One mile deep, ten miles wide and 266 miles long, it's vastness is beyond words. Truly one of the wonders of the world.
