Made it to Santa Monica and the end of Route 66 on the pier.We are now established in The Shangri La hotel with views of the Pacific Ocean from our rooms. If I was 16 years old I would have to say this is the coolest place. If we had started the trip here we wouldn't have gone anywhere!! Beach tomorrow....
