Arrived safely in San Francisco. Went for a big walk to the Ferry Building, had Mexican for lunch, then ventured down to Chinatown & had coffee & cake. On our travels we went down Broadway & came across the "girlie" bars & sex shops - trust us !!!

Weather is much colder than New York, very windy & as it was starting to get cold we ventured back to the hotel we are staying at on Market Street. The buildings are not as tall as New York, but the clouds are sweeping in & covering the tops. It will be interesting to see what time the fog lifts in the morning. Have bought a 3 day public transport pass & will catch the bus, subway or cable cars to see all the sights we want to see over the next couple of days.

Unfortunatley, we have to pay for internet / email access here at the Renoir Hotel, & once again I do not have access to a hard drive. But don't worry, still taking lots of photos & will update all the news when we get back home.

We will be back in Sydney on Sunday 24th August.
