We actually went to Santa Monica on our tour of LA / Hollywood today, so this picture finally seems appropriate.

Our tour took us into Los Angeles & the Olvera Street where the oldest house in LA is still standing. A history of the area was given by our tour guide & part-time actor, Gary, who was very informative throughout the whole trip, from how the eucalyptus trees came to be in America to the concrete lined LA river.

Our little tour bus took us up to Mulholland Drive where we spotted some famous actors houses to Hollywood Blvd, Sunset Blvd, Rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills, Wiltshire Blvd & then to the Farmers Market for lunch which is next to the huge CBS studios.

We then travelled to Santa Monica, Venice Beach (big contrast between the "have's" & the "have-nots") & Muscle Beach (this is where Arnie used to train at & did his first movie) & Marina Del Rey to see Richard Branson's new ship complete with helicopter.
