2016 - Off to Utah
We left South Dakota and travelled through Nebraska. North western Nebraska was somewhat hilly with many cattle farms. As we got further south, it became very flat with wheat being the primary crop. We stopped at Scott's Bluff which was most of the way through Nebraska as we wanted to see the "monuments". Apparently the terrain was level at one time and through wind and soil erosion, the ground dropped leaving these monuments.
As we started to drive to the top of one of the bluffs, we almost ran over a rattlesnake. Just when I thought I didn't need to worry about alligators, crocodiles and sharks any more L.
We continued our drive through to Loveland, Colorado.
