Well.................after staying at Lovina for a while, we decided to head back to Kuta. Although its more built for tourists, it had more of a social scene. Its mainly surfers here from all over of the world. We also spent one night in a place called Dreamland which was a surfers paradise. I managed to bodyboard but surfing was a no no and i kept being reminded of sharks!!! We stayed in a real shack with a shared shower and toilet (squat!) complete with cochroaches, bats, mosquitos etc! The beach was so beautiful though. However one night was enough (its amazing what you will do for a shower and air con. In the evening we built a bonfire on the beach until the tide came in! Anyway having a great time. So hot, sunny beautiful and friendly apart from one particular stray dog that bit me and now i have to regularly visit the doctors for painful injections! May be heading off to laos in a couple of weeks but will keep you informed. Love to all x
