Surf Camp was wicked, the day we got there we had a surfing lesson- i spent about an hour getting into my wetsuit with the help of Sophie and i looked a bit like a penguin but heck! we wandered down to the sea and spent a hile on the sand looking like beached whales before heading out into the sea. we all managed to stand up on the board but naturally jim was better than me (which was unsurprising)! we had a really nice meal in the evening and drank some more goo...

we turned up in Byron Bay in the evening and it turned out that our hostel was ages away from the town so we got a bus back in and went out to a few bars that night, which was a laugh. the next day we mooched around byron for the day after changing hostel so we were closer to the town. byron is a really nice place, very laid back. we booked our tour to nimbin and went with 'jims alternative tours'.
