We arrived at Te Anau, it's a very small town only really visited as a gateway to Milford Sounds. After a long drive from Fox Glacier we finally arrived at Wanaka. It was dark so not a lot we could see or do, we popped into town for a Pizza then back home for an early night. We left Hokitika and headed for Glacier country. We were staying at Fox Glacier but stopped off at Franz Josef for a look on the way. Moved on from Nelson and took the short drive to a town called Westport. Not an awful lot to do there which was just as well because as soon as we arrived we crashed out for the afternoon! Had a really cool motel. The room was ace - and we had a TV - HURRAH! The place we were staying had a Pub downstairs where we went for tea.
