After a very long bus journey we finally arrived at Airlie Beach. Arrived at sunrise which was very pretty - although hard to be too impressed at 6.30am after nine hours on a bus! Slept all morning, then headed into town for a quick nosy. Is a very pretty harbour town with lots of little touristy shops. James got a new watch and replacement sunglasses. That night was job night, we have been super organised and booked up all our hostels for the rest of our time in...

Our next stop was the very sleepy town of Agnes Water. Only has 2000 residents. Arrived at the hostel and were a bit suprised - it was a bit of a shed to stay the least - however turned out to be one of the best places we stayed!! After checking in we asked the girl at reception what there was to do on a night, she simply pointed at the table in the courtyard and said "Go buy some goon and sit there!" And so we did. Very early start for the Fraser Island trip - 5am we got up!!! Not fun! Headed over to Rainbow beach to get the ferry across to the Island. Met our tour guide "Crazy Mal," who was driving the 4x4 bus we would be in for the next 2 days. For those that don't know Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world. So the tour... Quick stop for tea and biscuits then on with the tour. First stop Lake Wabby. Had to walk across a sand blow to get there...

Noosa was our next stop, back to hostel life :( Our hostel was 1 million miles away from anything, so was quite a trek to do anything!! We took the long trek into town and stopped for some fish and chips. Had a look in the shops - not that we can afford to buy anything!! That night we had a quiet night at the bar in the hostel. The next day we decided to be a bit more adventurous and went for a walk at Noosa national park. Didn't get to see much wildlife here...

Well, seems like years ago we where here - we have been a bit slack with the website - sorry guys! But will try our best to remember what we got up to!! Arrived in Brisbane and headed to James' friend Jems house - no hostels for a week - hurrah!! Met her and her boyfriend Mark. First night Jem took us into Brisbane for a few drinks, had champange by the river - very posh!! The next day Jem and Mark had a BBQ. So lots of people and LOTS of beer!! Very messy!! ...
