Where to begin?!
After the most exhausting yet exhilarating 3 days of our lives in the jungle we were excited about having a few relaxing days by the B.M.P (backpackers meeting place) pool. Ideally, we would have only stayed in Chiangmai Mai for one or two nights after the Trekk but we had already paid for four.
The following night we went into the centre of Chiangmai (Night Bazaar) we walked round the market and looked at beautiful things that we can't afford and had a lovely cultural meal.. Pizza, cheeseburger and chicken Kiev. (our treat for living on rice and Lavi for the last few days) we then went into an 'Irish' bar (just for you mum and aunties) and got merry in the Irish way and had a really girly loved up chat.
The next day, Still traumatised after our Trekk in the jungle we decided that a Thai Massage was NEEDED. Feet, legs, back, head, shoulders, arms, hands for a whole hour all for £3.60. We were in heaven. After each finger and toe had been pulled and cracked we floated back to our Guest House and had an early night. Lovely.
After another hard day by the pool we booked ourselves onto a Thai cooking course. We cooked Pad Tie, chicken and Cashew Nut, green curry paste, green Thai curry, topped off with banana toffee fritters with ice-cream... Mmmmmmm delicious. It will definitely be hard to beat when we start playing 'Come Dine With Me' with the girls when were back.
After an absolutely amazing week in Chiangmai we were ready for the next part of the adventure. On to LAOS.

Carmel(Clara's Mum) Clara guess what's on the menu when you get back! And yes, you're cooking. Would the massage have straightened out my crooked toes. xxxxxxx
Carmel(Clara's Mum) Was the Irish bar actually Irish owned? x
