Ok, so I'm getting a little behind on the blog updates and already forgetting where we've been and what we've done so will try and summarise the last week.
We were in Queenstown for 4 nights. A beautiful beautiful town. Smaller than I expected but one of my favourite part of New Zealand yet.
Stayed at Aspen hostel for two nights but moved next door to Alpine hostel for the last two. This was because 1. there was free wifi, which is unheard of in NZ and 2. because one of the girls in the hostel did NOT like us for coming in drunk and turning the light on for all of 30 seconds. (i blame the rare, happy hour deals) We Thought it better to move. Glad we moved though as met some lovely Americans.
Queenstown was spent mainly wandering, drinking tea, and later drinking wine. We spent one of the days going to the top of the mountain on cable car with the most picturesque view of Queensland. The sky's were clear and weather picking up which made it even better. And Sarah conquered (for now) her fear of heights.
We also went on our own little pub crawl and met some great people. Played darts (which I'm bloody good at) chatted, laughed, cried (alcohol induced) and finally sang and danced LOTS to a live band. Oh and lost the only jumper I own. Dam it!
