Ok, so the 40 minute ferry ride from Koh Phangnan to Koh Samui was actually quite relaxing, but after meeting various people who had different opinions on Samui, we were anxious as to what we would find. But let me tell you - it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I would definately recommend this place to everyone. The resort on the beach are amazing - the restaurants on the beach are fantastic! I really do recommend it! this i by far my favourite place in Thailand so far!!

We are staying in another bungalow, which has two floors, on Chaweng Beach. It's so nice. Last night (Monday - our first) we had a really nice dinner sat on the beach (on tables obviously). No wonder all the local airlines crash over here - many have flown over us that are stupidly low and you can almost see the pilot. its quite scary at times. After our meal we walked further down where we had a drink in a bar where there was a woman singing. She then came around with the microphone where Loz attempted a quick sing, then I sang the ending to "Imagine" and I even got an applause - they must have been drunk! However, the highlight of the evening had to be steph. We sat down and I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea Cocktail and Steph decided she wanted a Screaming Orgasm (a cocktail which wasnt on the menu - but she thought she would as anyway) so the poor Thai waitress cam along to take our order which Steph responds - "Do you do screaming orgasm?" The poor womans face was priceless... if pnly my camera hadn't ran out of battery!! Needless to say she didn't get the cocktail she wanted!!!

Today we've been shopping and sunbathed on the beach. Heading for a drink soon then back to the beach. This place is amazing. We went out last night (Tuesday) and needless to say met lots of people -some from Australia - one lives in Cairns so we're going to meet him when we go. A guy from London and a few people from Leeds. So the drink turned into several :( - We wnet into a Jimi Hendrix Bar, where Steph and Aussie Sarah attempted to team steal a sign... Steph got it so far, until the grumpy barman spotted it and grabbed it, almost hit steph over the head with it whilst shouting unpleasantries - so we thought we'd move on. Next thing we know it was 2.30am and time to head back to the resort to catch up on some sleep. Today (Wednesday) we shopped for abit as it was too hot to sit out on the beach, and went to the post office to send a package of unwanted and uneccesary items of clothing home and made a team decision that although this is our last night here, we do have to be up at 6am to catch the ferry and bus to Phuket, so we're staying in. It's going to be a book club night and packing. Will update in Phuket :)
