We nipped into the city for this morning and after lunch we went to Cairns Tropical Zoo. It was mainly Australian animals and it had a good croc show - finally got to see them, even if it was a zoo! There were all the usual Aussie animals there - kangaroos, casowrays, koalas, wombats and red pandas as well. It was a good day out and kept us busy whilst waiting for the car to be sorted we've booked to go diving tomorrow so that should be fun. We met a couple from Barnsley, who we got on well with and enjoyed listening to another Northern accent
