Left the city in the direction of the Grampian Mountain Ranges. A vast area of mountains, rocks, lakes, waterfalls, the bush and wildlife. Hopefully we'll see a kangaroo! Straightened ourselves up with the washing - well it had been well over 2 week s since we last did a load! Wasn't one of our best washes though because everything that went in white came out pink! Not to long a drive day today to Adelaide, capital of South Australia. If it wasn't for the Aussie twang in the accent we would have thought were back in sunny Manchester (not that Manchester has campsites in the middle of the city). Left the desert today with a load of driving for a change, glad this is the last loooooooooong drive and now we just have lots of longish drives. We were greeted in Port Augusta by rain and wind and coldness. Nothing much going on, so we went and had some very good fish and chips before taking cover from the rubbish weather for the night.

We left Kings Canyon and the Northern Territory today. We are really please we made the decision to come and see this part of Australia, it's definitley been worth it and is our favourite part of Australia so far.
