With constantly driving and spending heaps on petrol we decided to have a couple of days in Port Augusta. Its the main stop off for more or less everyone travelling up to or coming down from Uluru or Alice Springs. Its a small little town near the Flinders Ranges - a huge area of mountains and hill that the locals call stunning. We had a night at the campsite overlooking the ranges and eating hobnobs covered in melted chocolate.

Had a nice and warm nights sleep before getting back on the road and crossed the state border of NSW into Victoria. Already the drives and scenery are changing a little with the odd cacti and patches of red sand. Really cant put it in writing what the views are like and photo's just dont do it justice of the miles and miles of absolute nothing surrounding us. With a slight headache following 2 bottles of red the night before we had a quick brekkie and headed over to Apollo Campers, the place where we would pick our new home up from. Made our way back into Sydney this morning and are now no longer touring the East Coast. It's been good, but we found it to be a little overrated. Great for a party and drinks, but we can do that at home! If we come again then will definitely stick to the West Coast.
