Not to long a drive day today to Adelaide, capital of South Australia. If it wasn't for the Aussie twang in the accent we would have thought were back in sunny Manchester (not that Manchester has campsites in the middle of the city). It is nothing like Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns or any of the other cities we have been to. It had a very British feel to it with churches and old buildings and obviously the cold weather. It is a well planned city with really wide streets and the centre is surrounded by well kept parks.
We had a walk into the centre for a look round and have also now decided to pass time whilst on the road by learning French! We were hoping to find a cd that teaches you everything and after 3 hours learning we'd be able to speak it fluently - doesn't look quite as easy as that though! Oh well, we'll give it a go!
