First of all, thanks to the spur of the moment 'lets buy a fan heater' last night we managed to survive the night at below minus degrees in the back of our renovated transit van! We were not at all prepared for how cold it is going to be in South Australia, so when our lips, nose, fingers and toes finally went from icy blue to a nice rosey pink we went straight into the town. Boots, coats, scarves and extra duvet, not forgetting Dave's need of a dvd player we were satisified.

Wagga Wagga is a nice pretty little town well inland. Lots of shops, cafes and gardens to have a nosey round, even has a few takeaway joints which easily explains the porkies and how Australia is the most obese country in the world!

Again, it hit below freezing at night and after feeding the possums apples to keep them at bay we had a night in 'front of the box with the fire on'.
