Noosa
We arrived in noosa after the longest coach journey in history and went to our hostel where we had 2 free nights accommodation! We stayed at flashpackers hostel and it was a nice set up there, we got the free nights because we were looked after by our friends on dropbear! Monday we just settled in and went out in the evening for drinks and just happened to catch another saints game on tv!! On the Tuesday we went to Australia zoo which was amazing! Saw so many different animals and the Steve Irwin memorials! Got to touch a kangaroo and hug a koala too! Was definately a great day in the sun watching shows and seeing so many things that you wouldn't in the uk! Wednesday we had another early start for our 3 day camping trip to Fraser Island! The trip was incredible we saw so many Clearwater lakes that we swam in and got to drink the pure water! Driving on Australian roads and across the beach for some off roading was an experience in itself! Met some amazing people on the trip which helped to make it one of the best tours that they have done (according to them) We had a wild group that got on really well and loved to party! Again like the last trip had lots of different nationalities like Spanish, German, Canadian, English, Belgium and Australian! Me and lew loved every second!! Camping out on the beach was another good experience! Waking up to amazing sunrises and seeing your star sign at night in the stars was pretty cool too! The days were long with 6.30 wake ups to midnight drinks on the beach but it was well worth the tiredness!! Once we drove ourselves back from Fraser we got back to the hostel via a beer pick up and got the whole group together for a night out! Was a really good party for most of us! Shame some guys couldn't make it though.
Brisbane
Well Brisbane was a bit of a write off as we got there around midday and was so tired from the last few long days we slept from midday til 6ish! But we got up and went and had a meal and chilled with two German girls we met jil and janina! Sadly we didn't get to see much of what was probably a really nice city with huge buildings throughout and great scenery! The first real city we've been to I guess! Currently on the coach travelling to Byron bay, we decided to skip surfers paradise to get an extra day in Sydney as we want to try see as much as we can there!
