Sydney
So the Australian leg is finally over and what a leg it was! We finished in Sydney and what a city. Very similar to London with huge buildings and fantastic views! We arrived on Thursday at around 10am and checked in at Eva's backpackers! Nice hostel in the middle of a rough area!! It was sad knowing that there was only 3/4 days left of our Ozzie adventure but we were determined to make the most of it! We went to darling harbour and ate at Hard Rock Cafe! Then took a trip to the aquarium which was pretty cool seeing different underwater creatures! We then heading back via the Sydney harbour bridge and opera house! The next day we got out and headed to the sky tower! Had brunch at Westfield shopping centre (clearly designed for people who had the most expensive tastes in history) lots of expensive brands! Up the sky tower we had some incredible views of Sydney and could see for miles! Got to the the cricket ground, Olympic stadium, darling harbour, Sydney bridge and so much more! In the evening we had a few drinks and a meal but nothing too crazy! The Saturday we went to Luna park just over the bridge on the north island! That was a small funfair where me and lew somehow got on the worlds oldest dodgiest rollercoaster!! Pretty sure we nearly came off the track at one point!! In the evening we met Lewis' cousin and had a few drinks which turned in to a few more! We ended up quite drunk spending a fair bit on what was Lewis last night on Sydney! Jil and janina joined us for a few more drinks before we fell into a restaurant for food then somehow stumbled home!! The day after saw the departure of Lewis! He left around midday and after saying our goodbyes I headed to bondi beach! Luckily it was a nice day! And the surf there looked great.. Had lunch with the view of the beach then headed back to the hostel and chilled for a bit before bumping in to Seb max and Liza and we went out for my last night in Sydney! Caught the light show in the harbour which was pretty cool then hit some bars back in kings cross which was eventful! Some interesting people in kings cross haha! The day after I checked out and relaxed watching tv before my taxi picked me up to take me to the airport... After a tour of Sydney I got to the airport and left an incredible 3 and a half weeks behind to start my New Zealand adventure! If its half as good as Australia I'm in for an amazing time :)
