Kaikora
Kaikora is a very small town with one Main Street! We went to a seal spot where we saw lots of seals lazing around on the shore and even on benches and walkways! Further down we went up to a waterfall and saw hundreds of baby seals playing in the water! Being so young they curiously come up to you to check you out! They only go to the waterfall 2 months of a year so felt quite pleased we got to see it! The population of kaikora is just over 3000 and with most activity on the Main Street we had a wander down and saw a few bars, shops and restaurants! We went out for dinner in the evening and played some pool before heading back to the hostel and getting ready for another bus the following morning!
