Had the flight from hell from Manchester to Dubai.....

Basically we left Manchester at 9pm local time for our 7 and a half hour flight to Dubai. I tried getting some sleep, however, there was this child about 5 years old who threw the biggest tantrum ever!!!! This meant that any chance of getting some sleep was never going to happen as you guessed it, the child was sitting in the aisle directly across from us - so here we are in Dubai at 8am local time, with a 3 hour stop over, with zero sleep from last night and have another 13 and a half hours flying time in front of us to get home.

The joys of travel......it is at this point in time that you question the logistics of international travel - still, I know that it has all been worth it, but how I hope that the next 14 hours will go fast.

The flight was slightly delayed - left at 11am instead of 10.10am, however, other than that everything went well.
