Today we went shopping.... Hard to believe but I actually went into a shop!!! Managed to buy a new suit, some work pants, a pair of jeans and 3 pairs of shoes..... That is it for me!!! The place where I bought my suit had a recommended tailor across the street so I dropped off my suit and it is being amended on the spot so it is ready to be worn! Amazing service and cheap... Up early today and headed straight to the airport. A quick cab ride, no problem checking in our luggage or getting through security and here we are waiting for our flight to New York. Arrived in New York about 7.30pm local time and caught a private car to our hotel. By the time we arrived at our hotel it was about 9pm. We checked in and unpacked and hit the streets of NY Times Square is only 5 minutes away and the place is incredible!!! There are so many people on the street - it is just crazy!!! Nadeen managed to find the local Hershey's outlet - which is the major chocolate supplier over here so she is very happy with her purchases... N...

A late start to the day today due to the late night last night. We walked the strip to find somewhere to eat and we ended up having a buffet lunch and then caught the bus north to the shopping outlets - but not before the mandatory playing the ponies and having a couple of drinks.... After shopping back to the Strip and another stop at yet another Casino - have lost count of how many casinos we have been in - an in everyone we have had at least one drink!!!! Y...

Up and about early today for our helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon with a company called Heli USA. Picked up from our hotel and taken to the airport where we had a quick safety demonstration before getting on the helicopter. It was a fairly new chopper so no problems about taking off. They fly for about half an hour out to the start of the Grand Canyon then land and re- fuel before taking off again. You then fly through the Grand Canyon itself - spectacular!! ...
