Its been an amazing experience going on safari. I can type this now as we have left the area and Im still alive! On 2 nights we were sleeping near enough outside and you could hear the lions roaring in the distance. The elephants were within metres away from us and some had many babies with them and they were splashing in the water to cool down...Some days we were walking but if it was nighttime we would go out in jeeps as that is when the lions etc come out to play so we need to have a quick getaway vehicle.
