After transferring to several 4X4 jeeps we had a bumpy ride up to the mountains. We were driving through rivers and hardly visible dirt tracks but it was worth it in the end as when we got to the top the view was amazing. There was just our cabins and nothing else for about 50 miles ! We had no power and no phone connection so it was like being in the middle of nowhere. Some people went on a 7 hour hike the next day, yes 7 hours!! but I decided for some reason to sit by the pool.! In the evening we had dinner by candlelight overlooking the mountains and played cards, charades which was very funny. The Australian guys on the tour are very entertaining and so kept everyone amused as there wasnt anything else much to do.
