Hello Honey! I am missing you soooooo much but it sounds absolutely amazing! I do agree with your dad though... more photo's needed so we know you're not just in the pub (tho just visiting the pubs of South America would probably be an adventure in itself) To make you feel better the weather here is totally awful too ;-) have you seen Dan and Mike yet? x x x take care Sarah

Hey Christie,
I did google the weather report as you sed on your Facebook (ANYTHING to get out of doing work) and its going to rain for the next 7 days in Ilha Grande :-( but if its any consolation its been raining in Portsmouth for that past 4 weeks..
Hope your getting lots of sightseeing done and squeezing a few alcoholic beverages in too!

Aha somone1 has quietly put me right without pointing the finger, it is indeed St.Jude and not St. Anthony who is the Patron Saint of Lost Causes! Sorry! We don't have any of this sort of hoo-haa in the Church of Scotland (I don't think) so I was winging it a bit! When you hit the culture trail again, see if you can find a stained glass window depicting Joseph -rather than Mary - holding the baby Jesus. I found one today!
Stan
We demand more photos, to prove that the three of you are not just sitting in a pub in the UK, with a laptop, making all of this up.

Hi Christie,
What was the Inca trail like? Especially the second day. Are you going to the Iguasu falls? Miss my internet buddy. Glad you're having fun and survived the hike. (c:laire

Just get your arse back here to sort out these GDCO's. We are missing you greatly. Weather here is dry and warm - we are in the middle of a mini heatwave - who needs Brazil!
Sal
I'll tell you something else in the absence of a contribution from anyone else! Apparently when you get to Rio you must make a point of seeing the "self-destructing" Talipot Palm wch grows for 30 years, flowers and then dies - up to a height of 60-80ft! Really, I wonder what you'd do without me!
Sal
Big news in the UK this morn is that the price of onions is set to double. HELL, you must miss it here!!
Sal
Try a quick prayer to St. Anthony, Patron Saint of Lost Causes, he may know where your sunshine is. He is often depicted with a pig and a bell, and no, I'm not making it up!
Jane
Hey Christie. Well done for not coming a cropper on the trail, and I'm so glad that the conditions were good for you. Weather gods having a little payback now perhaps? Carry on having fun, hon - and ca' canny with South American fashion purchases...
